(More customer reviews)I have been extremely happy with these panniers. After two years of use, they have not let me down at all. A quick recap:
- They've seen at least 25 days of rainy commutes -- computer and clothes all remain dry and safe. No leaks so far at all.
- They've been in three wrecks (one quasi-bad). No damage at all.
- Reflective details have removed the need for overblown bike decal work
- 17-inch models are huge -- big enough to carry computer, three phones, notebooks, a range of gizmos, and business attire, as well as a change for the ride home and a big towel.
- Very adjustable if you're comfortable with an allen wrench and a screwdriver
- Easy on and off for bike mounting
- Clever shims for different sized rack tubing
- Very comfortable strap for carrying once you've arrived
- Record haul: 50 lbs (two bags) of charcoal and 10 lbs of groceries. Twitchy ride, but no issues from the panniers.
If you're commuting in wet conditions, or simply have to haul tons of stuff, these are fine, longlasting panniers. The folks at Knog are a dream to work with as well.
